SAN DIEGO — Chargers fans rallied Sunday in downtown Santa Ana, holding signs that read “Save Our Future,” “We Can Save Ourselves” and “F- you Chargers.”
San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer said that the Chargers’ ownership group was willing to consider “all options” to save the team.
The Chargers played their final regular-season game on Oct. 2 in Carson, Nevada.
The team announced Monday that it would not renew its lease with Qualcomm Stadium, leaving it in limbo for the foreseeable future.
The Chargers are scheduled to play their next home game at Qualcomm Stadium in 2017.
