Architectural and commercial cell projects in Arizona are becoming more common, and the results could be spectacular.
Godrej Architects has designed a commercial tower at the former Navajo National Monument and other buildings in the area.
The towers have a maximum height of 1,300 feet (375 meters), and they’re built in a vertical fashion.
The company has also designed commercial office space in Tucson and Scottsdale, Arizona, with a maximum width of 1.2 million square feet (631,000 square meters), according to its website.
It has also created a commercial parking lot for the company’s Phoenix offices.
“This is our most ambitious project to date,” said John P. Haines, chief executive officer of Godrejs architecture, in a statement.
“The result is the tallest commercial cell ever built in Arizona.”
The towers were designed by the firm, and they were completed in May.
The towers are the tallest structures ever built at the Navajo National Park and the first to be constructed on the monument.
The National Park Service is planning to construct a 2,200-foot (610-meter) tower on the site of the original site.
Haines said that the commercial tower project is “the most challenging project to complete in Arizona in years.”
The company will be using the site for a parking lot, an industrial building, a commercial office and an industrial parking lot.
It’s unclear how many employees Godreja Architects has, but Hainse said that Godrejo is “a global company with a focus on sustainability.”
