Google’s search engine is still a relatively new and under-used service, with a handful of paid search options like AdWords and Google Search Ads.
Today, Google announced it’s planning to release a new paid search product, called Google Ads, which will help publishers monetize their sites by using Google Ads’ search capabilities.
The company is also planning to make Google Ads available to publishers that want to offer their own personalized ads or sponsored content.
Google said it expects to launch Google Ads sometime next year.
Google’s announcement comes after Facebook announced it would launch its own search product on August 5.
Google isn’t the only search company to announce a paid advertising product, as Yahoo announced that it was planning to launch its search product at the end of the year.
But for now, Google’s paid search service is Google Ads.
